Reasoned Agriculture

Organic Approach

Suitable for Vegetarian & Vegan

Silver Medal CGA

Fresh, full flavoured, intense and rich.

Food pairing:  Salmon/avocado verrines, fish and shellfish, light and lemony dishes, white meats, sheep cheeses...

Serving temperature: 8°C

Tasting notes:

The lemony touch of Chardonnay for a fresh mouth, ending on a beautiful length raised by the aromas of Pinot Noir.

Grape: 35% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, 25% Pinot Meunier.

Dosage: 7g/l Brut

Vinification:

Épernay (chalk soil) - Mareuil le Port (clayey, sandy soil).

Region:

Our vineyard is mainly located in the heart of the Marne Valley where we find clay soils with a strong presence of limestone and sandy marls.

Our plots in Tours sur Marne and Épernay are on chalky soils.

A chalky soil will give frank, fine wines, with a good length in the mouth and clay soils will give gourmet wines with a delicate acidity.

On our soils, we only use organic fertilisers and amendments coupled with natural treatments such as nettle slurry or horn dung in order to support the soil fauna which will work to balance them.

All our vineyard is grassed or plowed and the soil of the young plantations is worked by ploughing.

We have started to replace chemical weeding (currently only below the vine row) with tillage below the row.
